About Us

A family name behind every box.

Founded in 1946 by Albert G. Horton in Louisville, Kentucky, our family has spent over seven decades earning the trust of grocers, restaurants, and food service operators across the country. We were among the pioneers of pre-packaged produce in the 1950s, and we've never stopped innovating.

Today, with facilities in Louisville and Irving, Texas, we serve the continental United States with the same promise that started it all.

"Our primary goal will always be to serve you better."

What You Get

One partner. Every step covered.

Most distributors juggle a grower here, a ripener there, a repacker across town, and a carrier on top. We do all of it — one call, one invoice, people who pick up the phone.

Six capabilitiesOne roof
  1. 01

    Growing

Direct access to 600+ acres of family-farmed product across KY, IN, and TN — local sourcing you can put on the shelf and stand behind.

  2. 02

    Sourcing

Our global procurement team fills the gaps year-round, so you get a complete program from one partner instead of chasing a dozen vendors.

  3. 03

    Ripening

14 ripening rooms tuned to your spec — bananas, avocados, and mangos that arrive on your dock ready to sell.

  4. 04

    Repacking

Custom packs, private label, and Eco-Cert organic — your bags, your sizes, your brand, without the capital investment on your end.

  5. 05

    Processing

Value-added items like our candy and caramel apples — turnkey seasonal programs ready to drop into your set under Peak Brand or your own label.

  6. 06

    Distribution

Our refrigerated fleet out of Louisville and Irving, backed by First Call Logistics 24/7 — one call, one invoice, deliveries that show up when promised.

From field to fleet, under one roof.
